British Culinary Federation

On behalf of the British Culinary Federation, I would like to express my thanks to you all and the Grand Hotel for looking after us very well on the occasion of our 20^th Anniversary Dinner and Awards Evening on Monday 2^nd June.   I have already received much positive feedback from members and industry guests who attended.

The food was excellent, with lots of  compliments on the evening and in emails afterwards.

Service on the night was friendly and welcoming. In all, another fabulous event.

The Grand restored to its former glory is still a pleasure to see… I was very pleased once again to bring our event back with you and feel sure we will be back again next year.

Please convey my sincere thanks to everyone involved with special thanks to Christa and Brad who were a pleasure to work with and communicated very well.

Deepest thanks from the Purple Lamb team for your dedication, passion and hard work on our event - not just this week but throughout the entire planning process. Your openness, communication and commitment to ensure a quality and seamless delivery has honestly been so much appreciated.

Your entire team supported this event - all departments and all individuals were aware of who we were and worked tirelessly to ensure the client was delighted. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was done politely and with a smile, particularly amongst the operations team and concierge and of course chef Brad, who supported our growing dietary list with in such a positive and solution-based manner. 

The hotel feels cared for, which is unusual to see these days. We appreciated all the small details. Your standard of offering is exceptional. 

Any recommendations for future events are minor and have been discussed with you onsite. Lucy and I are excited to bring more events back to your hotel and would be happy to provide any testimonials should you need.

I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you on behalf of myself and my entire family for the incredible experience we had at The Grand Hotel Birmingham two weeks ago. The warm welcome, the seamless service, and the sheer professionalism of your team made my niece’s wedding reception a truly unforgettable occasion.

We had all spoken months in advance about how special Simran’s reception at The Grand Hotel Birmingham had been,  it set such a high bar that, truthfully, many of us were trying to manage our expectations this time around. We thought it would be nearly impossible to match that extraordinary weekend.

But I must say, with genuine admiration, not only did you meet those expectations,  you exceeded them. The hotel, and more importantly, the wonderful people who work there, truly shined. Every member of your team went above and beyond to look after our family, and it didn’t go unnoticed. From the smallest details to the overall ambience, everything was executed to perfection.

I’m fortunate enough to have stayed in many hotels around the world, but The Grand Hotel Birmingham holds a very special place in my heart. It’s rare to find a place that combines elegance with such warmth and humanity,  and that’s entirely down to you and your team.

The wait staff were wonderful, the food was beautifully presented and delicious, the front of house staff were so helpful with all the printing  requests and the attention to detail overall was outstanding! You were so efficient and a pleasure to work with 😊

I hope this finds you well, I just wanted to reach out to thank you both for the incredible event we had with you yesterday. From the point of booking to the day itself, all of the team members we came across could not do enough to help us and we absolutely fabulous. We couldn’t have chosen a better venue and the day went without fault. The feedback has been great so thank you so so much for all the effort you all put into the day and please pass my personal thanks onto your teams.

Firstly, I want to thank you all for your help and support in organising last weeks event at The Grand. We have had very good feedback from the client and attendees on everything from the venue itself, the hotel staff, and the food throughout the event.

From our side, I know I speak for the whole Worldspan team when I say that it was a pleasure to work with you all on this event both during the pre-event stage and the onsite delivery. You guys were quick to respond and solve any questions or queries we had which was much appreciated.
